Dear Lasallians,
Dear Lasallians,
Several of our IALU universities have joined forces on behalf of our collective network in business. At IALU, we have encouraged and supported that initiative as a way of delivering more for all our members, in line with our efforts of decentralization.

The La Salle Business School Alliance was created to strengthen the global collaboration between Lasallian Business Schools. The initiative aims to enhance academic programming, create opportunities for faculty and student exchanges, and develop new initiatives like micro-credentials and global alumni networks. This Alliance is built on shared values and the vision to advance business education, address global challenges, and create transformative experiences for students and faculty within the Lasallian educational network.

Story
Story
The origin of the Alliance dates back to the summer of 2019, during the Lasallian Leadership Program, where the idea was sparked after recognizing the transformative potential of the Lasallian network. In 2020, with the support of Don Gibson, then Dean at Manhattan University, the first virtual meetings were held with six Lasallian Business School Deans, which led to the creation of an informal association. Over the next few years, the group expanded to include global colleagues and initiated projects like an annual societal impact competition. By February 2024, conversations with key Deans reinforced the desire to extend this collaboration globally, leading to the formation of a formal alliance.
